New Hampshire State Police Investigate Crashes Around The State: NHSP News Roundup

CONCORD, NH — A man from Manchester was arrested on a drunken driving charge after a crash on Interstate 293 on June 10.

Around 1 p.m., troopers were sent to the northbound side of the highway for a report of a car crashing into a pickup truck hauling a trailer and horse. The impact, according to Tyler Dumont, the public information officer for the New Hampshire State Police, caused the trailer to tip onto its side, becoming disabled in the middle of the highway. The 2005 Scion TC coupe was driven by Adam Rollins-Ramirez, 23, of Manchester. The driver of the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, a woman from New Boston, and others got the horse out of the trailer. The horse had a laceration to its lower leg, Dumont said.

Rollins-Ramirez was accused of being intoxicated and was arrested. He is due in Manchester District Court on July 15. AMR and Manchester firefighters assisted the state police. Lanes of the highway were closed for about 75 minutes, according to a report.

Keene Sex Offender Faces Child Sexual Abuse Image, Other Charges

A man from Keene on Friday was arrested on several felony charges after being accused of targeting a child for “an online relationship,” according to Dumont.

Harrison S. Chambers, 36, was arrested on felony indecent exposure for transmitting lewd images to a child under 16, prohibited use of computer services, endangering the welfare of a child, possession of child sexual abuse material, and failure to comply with

sex offender requirements. The investigation against him began in May by the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force after state police learned of an allegation a man was using Snapchat to “facilitate illegal contact” with the child.

Additional charges, Dumont said, are possible after “a forensic analysis of digital evidence seized during the investigation.”

Chambers was scheduled to be arraigned in Keene District Court Monday. According to an online directory, Chambers is a sex offender due to felonious sexual assault and child sexual abuse image convictions in February 2016.

Investigators are concerned Chambers used social media to communicate and potentially make in-person contact with other juveniles, Dumont said. Anyone with information about the case was asked to contact Det. Edward Horton at 603-931-0660 or Edward.J.Horton@dos.nh.gov.
